Great responses. I'm going to be in S. Arizona (Bisbee) thru Mid-March then thinking of going up to Sonoma to my brother's place next to a vineyard thru mid-April. Yeah, the Rockies might be cold in mid-April.

Would like to do that but shipping Fatboy Lo to midwest would be $$$. Getting down to Arizona pulling enclosed trailer but thinking of sending the missus back to Midwest with empty trailer at end of Arizona stay.

 

Or it might be 70 degrees. You just never know. I've spent many a day in Vail spring skiing and the base is sunny and 60 degrees. You just nned to be flexible in your travel plans. Of note, the roads can be sand covered in early spring so watch for that.
