Sanfords is awesome!

 

The red lodge cafe and lounge had the biggest chicken fried steak I have ever seen. We ate at the cafe for 3 days we stayed in town

 

For a great piece of pie, try the Purple Pie Place in Custer. The Bumbleberry pie is delicious!!

Lol. I know it wasn't in the thread title but he mentioned it in the towns he was visiting and figured Id throw it out there,

 

Not a problem, I ask as I like CFS and was going to try ride Beartooth Hwy and stoping in Red Lodge. chicken fried steak sounds good.

Bubbas BBQ in Jacksone Hole, WY. Not much to look at from the outside but the food is fantastic. They have a buttermilk chocolate pie that rocks. And the steak house across the street ( can't remember the name ) is very good also.

 

I agree a Great rib plate.

 

Not trying to be a smart *** but it is in Red Lodge Montana.

That being said Penny's Diner in Rawlins WY is excellent.

 

Penny's is fine if you are amenable to "greasy spoon food"
