No, that would be the State Line Restaurant on the north side of El Paso. Parking lot is in Texas, actual building is in New Mexico. It does have good reviews though....

Cattlemans is in Fabens, TX about 30 miles east of El Paso on I-10.

Get off of I-10 in Junction and take 377 to 29 across to Llano and stop a Coopers BBQ.
Or, if you hit the area on a weekend, Stop into the Castell general store for some tasty BBQ(also off of 29) Better than that, you can Take 16 down into the Hill Country and hit the 3 Sisters in Leakey, Tx

Seconded for Lums. Old school, grill out front under a tin shack. very friendly staff and the food is hot off the grill. cant beat it! also, take the time to hit the 3 sisters but be careful going south out of Junction as the wildlife is the thickest of any in texas!

Ive been to Castell, neat place... showed up starving on a Saturday and no food was being sold. I dont know if they changed it up, or I just caught em on a bad day. This was about 6 months ago.

I really enjoyed "Salt Lick" a few miles from Dripping Springs. Not exactly on your route though.

Several great places in Lockhart, Blacks being one of them. Plan is to head there on Sunday.

Regardless of the great BBQ this state has to offer, the 3 Sisters is an absolute must if you can make it.

Reverend Jim's Pub is also a great take in that area.
