Yes we eat at Grady's regularly, it is fine, not the best but very worthy of the name BBQ. La Fogata was kind of just okay last time we were there about a month ago.

Rudy's before it was....
A soulless chain.
The original Rudy's was in a old type Tin-barn on I-10 (some of us Texans call it I-10) between the 550 and 555 exit. They served the best brisket and creamed corn you could find.
To this day, all of the Rudy's staff will ask you if you are "military" to make sure you get your 10% discount.
They started in SA, Tx and have several of them in the area but have expanded in other parts of Texas, Colorado and NM it seems.
I used to take my classes at Camp Bullis there for lunch on the final day of class.
BTW - the original Rudy's was right next door the the original "Macaroni's" - that is also now a chain. Neither one of them survived the 15 foot wall of water from the 100 year flood in the late 90's.
