Well, probably the least "Sturgis Experienced" here.....only went once with 2 other couples. We definitely enjoyed the riding we did more then the event itself. We stayed at Recreational Springs Resort, which is about 25 miles west of Sturgis. What an awsome half Hour ride through Deadwood and Lead and left us a couple miles from Spearfish Canyon. they have Tent sites, RV sites, cabins and a motel. Have a nice pavillion with some entertainment and have an nice little cafe set up for Breakfast or Dinner. Really loved being able to get away from the event but still be part of it. Definately check it out.

We'll be staying at Glencoe. I've stayed there before and really enjoyed. It has a great "night-life" (like all the others, I'm sure). Where-ever you stay just really enjoy and take it all in.

Sturgis is an adventure that some never get the chance to do but should do at least once!

Stayed at Hog Heaven a few years ago, really liked it, close to town, not loud and has everything you need. Earlier you arrive better spot you can pick. Have fun!

My buddy and I are staying at Deadwood KOA. Decided to try the week prior to the rally. Got a cabin at the KOA.

You'll like it there, shuttle downtown to gamble and party. We've stayed there 10 or 12 times in the last 15 yrs. Tented the first 3 or 4. Now I'm old and only tent when I'm camping solo. The cabins are kinda spendy during the rally but are worth it.

we are tenting and staying at the broken spoke. its about 11 miles from the chip down 79. my bro in law has spent 5 of his last 7 sturgis trips there. last year we checked it out. bathrooms were clean and the property is nice. big pool, party atmospher. its on the back side of bear butte. was pretty reasonable considering its rally week.should be getting in around the 4th and staying til the 9th.
