Hello. I'm from Europe but I go to usa every summer. I love your country!

I've already been in California, Nevada Utah Arizona Wyoming New York Massachusetts Maine New Jersey Pennsylvania New Hampshire and Florida so I have doubts about next destination.

I won't rent a bike for all the trip because we go for 15 days and carry a lot of luggage, probably a few day... Not sure. I go with my wife, we are 36 yo and we like nature wild life parks and some nightlife and rock music.

Having all that in mind will you go to Texas and New Orleans or Tennessee and north and South Carolina? Can't decide and after seeing all the beautiful national parks in Utah Wyoming and Arizona I don't know if I will be disappointed...

We want o go in Mid September... 15 days...

Beside these two options I'm also thinking about going to Seattle British Columbia and Alaska but probably mid sept its going to be a bit too cold and rainy?

You could see a lot of parks in Texas, BBQ, cold beer, live music......

The riding is Tennessee and the Carolinas will be better than Texas and Louisiana IMHO. Lots of hills, mountains, winding roads everywhere you go. In Texas you have to get out to the hill country. Nightlife might be better in New Orleans and parts of Texas though.

You want Night life and Rock Music? New Orleans Frenchman's Street. You want scenic riding and BlueGrass Music? Tennessee / Carolinas. Ya got to make a decision. After the wonderful rides you may have had in the West and Southwest, Texas and Louisiana are going to be a Big disappointment. But there aint no better modern music than Austin and New Orleans. I love Bluegrass and Gospel, and twisties and mountains, and I live close to New Orleans anyway, so Tennessee is my next trip.

 

I live in Texas. It depends on whether you want night life are great riding. the hill country in Texas is great and night life in New Orleans is great too. But you cant beat the Riding in the Carolinas.

Night life is not so important, I mean, we like to go out and have a drink but being tourist seesights, attractions and national parks are more important to us.

I always wanted to see New Orleans and Texas but after seeing the parks in Utah area in afraid I might be a bit disappointed even in sure both are beautiful places full of nice people and southern charm

 

Texas and New Orleans, if you have never been there, is hard to beat.
