Sleeping Bags

Used this for a recent MC camping trip. got down to about 60 at night, on an un-insulated sleeping pad, I was still a little warm, so temp wise, you should be good. It packs down to a little larger than a nalgene water bottle. Also used it with a Klymit Static V sleeping pad, it packs down to smaller than water bottle size, and can be found for cheap on the Klymit e-bay page.

Sleeping Bags
Experience. I purchased a bag for 40º weather and it did get that low during the night. So cold that I fought getting up to take a wizz but it never got any better, only worse. You can always unzip if it is too hot but you will spend one of the longest nights of your life when you are shaking. I will never try that again. I now go with an air pump that works off of my M/C battery (must keep M/C running) and an air bed, no sticking mat/pad. HF cheep *** blue tarp, Wall-mart cheep cooler to put it all in.
Do not go cheap!

Best thing about internet, search. I shop REI for most if not all my camping/ backpacking needs. Did a quik search and found 57 sleeping bags under 100.00 bucks. REI has the best warranty, if it doesn't meet you expectations just return.
This one looks good http://www.rei.com/product/828230/th...s-sleeping-bag

I ordered twoof the bags (snugpak jungle bags) that squish down to about size of coconuts. Ihave a three man tent from Cabelas that is pretty small also. So plan is just to stay at Chip after .38 Special, guess who, Brantley Gilbert concert on Sunday night instead of trying to ride back 60 miles to hotel..
I have not seen the bags yet as I'm working near Philly. I fly home Thursday and will start figuring everything out. Thanks for all the input.

I see you've already ordered yours but I'll add this for anyone still looking.
The Eureka Cheyenne is 2lb 10 oz and is a rectangular shape that mates with another bag and compresses down to about the size of a tomato juice can.
I keep tent pads and bags inside a 65L drybag and strap to the top of the load.
