Just finished exploring the Adirondacks mountain park for the past 2 days.wife and I pretty much criss crossed every road within the area and I was impressed, cept the skeeters, there are millions this year.

The Adirondacks are beautiful. I miss New York. I spent many an enjoyable day riding around the Adirondacks and the Catskills.

I did Route 10 to Route 8 to Route 30 and back home last week end. The frost really took a toll last winter. We cruise the Adacks often.

I spent about two months every summer in the Liberty/Parksville area. My father had a job in which he worked ten months in NYC and two months in the Catskills. When I added up all the months, it came to about three years of my life. So the Catskills always seemed like home to me, too. Where in the Catskills will you be tomorrow?

Rode to Woodstock then back and on into Pennsylvania. I,m in a town called Emporium right now. It,s a very picturesque area.

Many 2-3 day trips through Northern NY and Vermont/NH back when I had my last bike...back into it this summer and I hope to spend a weekend or two down that way before the cold wind blows...!

The weekend that Woodstock was going on, I was riding my bike all through that area. The cars were all stopped, bumper to bumper. But I was able to get through when I wanted by lane splittting. I was riding a Kawasaki W2SS in those days. That was a Japanese copy of a 650 cc BSA (big for those days).
