We rode through the ND badlands last year it is a beautiful area with and a lot different than the SD badlands. We are gonna ride both again in a couple weeks.

There are definitely fossils of land mammals in the area . . . but mammals developed at the end of the rein of dinosaurs. At this point, that area was no longer under the sea.

I like the Badlands loop during Sturgis because you don't get stuck in traffic jams like the other routes.


Big thumbs up to the ND Badlands. Way wilder than SD. I really like Teddy's southern ranch. Buff, cow, man, no matter. You could get lost in the first hundred yards. To me it's a must do when going to or coming from Sturgis.
