Is 9 days enough time to do Sturgis from Ga?

It would be too many miles for me to do in three days each way but you may be stronger than I am. The most I've ever ridden in a day was about 600 miles and that was many years ago. Now I really can't do more than about 400 miles in a day if I have to do that day after day. If it were me and I only had nine days, I would skip Sturgis and go to some rallies closer to home.

If you are going to Sturgis to enjoy the rides, Needles Highway, etc. you should go sometime other than bike week. The roads are packed, there will be traffic jams on the major rides like Needles Hwy.
Sturgis is about the party and the pilgrimage every biker wants to make.
Three days is enough for actual bike week. You can walk downtown Sturgis, see the vendors etc in a single day. Spend 2 days riding to see the sights.

Please don't be a pansy and trailer to sturgis, enjoy the ride out and back. 9 days is more than enough time to enjoy the trip. There is a ton of great riding from Georgia to South Dakota. My advice is to take your time getting out, and take the quickest way home. You could make it home in two long days, but 2-1/2 is probably more realistic. 3-4 days in sturgis is about perfect.

Don't worry not trailer is in the plan unless we have a non rider wants to be chase vehicle and haul luggage. That is an active option.
