Gaspe Peninsula
Thinking of doing this in July.Looking for any advice/recommendations on motels-eats-must see areas . Planning on entering from northern Maine and doing the loop counterclockwise . Any riders here that have done this I would love to get some feedback .Probably have 12 days to do this---RockerNH

The link gives you a lot of good information.
Lobster season is in June and July, look for restaurants offering lobsters (all you can eat for about 25$), there are many of them around the peninsula.
Also... There is nothing much to see between Matane and Romouski, I suggest if you have time, to take the ferry from Matane to Baie Comeau
https://www.traversiers.com/en/our-f...ut-ferry/home/ , and ride down from the north side of the river and stop for a couple of days in the old Quebec City with their many festivals during the summer.
Welcome and have a great ride!

Went there 40 years ago. I remember rolling hills, cliffs, a really narrow two-lane road around the cliffs, and Perce Rock:

Ditto on the "must do" after reviewing the link. Damn, just when I thought I knew what I wanted to ride this year, more options abound. I am not sure I would make it a ten day trip like the link guide indicates but three or four for sure. I never even heard of this ride until the set of posts on NB/NS and this thread. Thanks for some new ideas near my home base (well, ok, maybe three hundred from it but that is just a day away--sweet)
