Shreveport to Chattanooga

The interstate is obviously going to be your fastest route. If you want secondary roads From Shreveport to MS you can take Hwy 80 which basically parallels I20. Once you get to Vicksburg you can jump on 61 North through the MS delta to Memphis. Or you can continue Hwy 80 In Vicksburg to Jackson and jump on I55 for three hours to Memphis. In Jackson you also have the option of HWY 49 through Yazoo City, Greenwood and Clarksdale into Memphis
Once in Memphis you can catch 64 to Pelham TN, once there you have the option of I24 or Hwy 41 into Chatt
In Memphis you also have the option of Hwy 72 through N MS, N AL into Chatt.
I have ran HWY 61 North recently from Vicksburg to Memphis and the road is good, it is known as the Blues Trail lots of road side things to see. Down side is as with any secondary road you are going through towns and dealing with stop signs/lights etc.. I have also been on 49 north from Jackson to Clarksdale recently and the road is good
My son just ran Hwy 80 from Jackson to Shreveport recently on his Shovelhead and said the road was not bad at all.
The other hwys I mentioned out of Memphis I have not ran so I can't tell you how they are

apologies. In my brain I saw Texarkana. My earlier post probably makes no sense. I will say we found plenty to stop and play crossing southern TN, hwy 64. How much time you spending getting over? Ever do the Natchez trace? Neat if you like, have time for, history stops. 50 mph limit tho enforced by rangers. Pretty country across north AL
