Thanks the Video brought back memories I Was there a few years ago and rented a RK for 24hrs . When i returned it the renter was upset i put like 400 miles on the bike !! I met some local riders and went on roads I never would have found myself

 

I live on Maui and there are some good roads but I am looking forward to a few weeks on the mainland this summer. My bike is going on Pasha to San Diego. I'll fly over and pick it up and spend a few days in Cali before heading to Omaha for a week then back....can't wait.

I will be there in September and can't wait. I will be renting a HD while I'm out there and hope to get as good of video footage as yall did.

I just got home last night from a Hawaiian vacation -- 5 days on Oahu, then 5 days on Maui. No chance to ride on Oahu, but when I saw the Eagle Rider shop just a mile or so from our condo, I had to try. I was able to rent a Softail Heritage for a day, rode some great roads -- but the winner was definitely Hwy 360 out to Hana: 600(+) curves in about 30 miles! And after seeing the black beach, I got to go thru those same 600 curves again, just in reverse. That's like riding the Dragon's Tail four times, but with very little traffic. I have to admit I was exhausted by the time I got back!

 

You definitely covered some ground by the looks of the video. I saw lots of sights from all sides of the island. Glad you enjoyed it. It is definitely some of the most beautiful riding ever. Although, it starts to get a little redundant seeing the same roads over and over again. I would recommend coming out and riding to anyone, but living here and doing it all the time starts to wear if you have rode the mainland and are used to open roads with no end.
