Any one been around the lake yet this year? Are the buds on the trees yet on the top side of the lake? I usually wait for the dog days of summer or fall color time however this whether gets me thinkin about it.

 

I was in Houghton over the weekend..............and there aren't any buds on the SOUTH side of that giant icebox! 15' piles of snow in parking lots at Mich Tech. I think you might wait just a bit. LOL

 

After buying a new SGS last fall, that is on the "To Do List" this summer. Thinking about August.

Leaving tomorrow night at 3:30 from Port Huron MI to do this trip. Been planning it for a long time. The group is very excited.

I'm heading up to do the circle tour mid July, been watching the weather, temps are nice

 

Trip was fantastic. I recommend it to anyone. There is so much to see and do. Beautiful sights. Lots of attractions. Gas is expensive in Canada. $4.50-5.00 US per gallon.

 

Leaving from Stevens Point WI this Sunday, going clockwise with Duluth as the first nights stop.
