It was a Run to Nelson after I crossed the border. Got to The Hume, checked in, had a nap and now I am downstairs in The Library. Had a Filet for supper, And beer, and wine and my own creation for desert. Apple Pie and Icecream, microwaved for 15 seconds and garnished with cinnamon and shaved chocolate. Now I am fat and drunk.
Tomorrow I will sleep in, and head to the Ferry to cross Kootenay Lake. And it is calling for sunshine all day ..... thanks Granny.

I stayed at The Hume in Nelson. A great old and restored hotel, great rooms, staff and food. But.... there is a bar in the Basement and it was Thump, Thump, Thump. Had to use ear plugs to sleep. I rode to the Ferry crossing on Kootenay Lake, but the big boat was broke, and it was a three hour wait, so turned around and went over The Kootenay Pass instead. I would have preferred the Lake road as it is twistier but the Pass is nice also. Both get me home.
The Kootenay Pass is between Salmo and Creston on Hwy 3. The Mountains in the background are in the US. This is on the West side.
About 1/2 the way up from the bottom on the West Side.
