If your journey takes you anywhere near Shanksville, PA, the memorial there is worth a stop-n-see.

Already been there - rode to it two summers ago. Also been to Ground Zero and the Pentagon. Of the 3, only Shanksville brought tears to my eyes. A very solemn place.

I'm not that knowledgeable so I didn't know if there was also a "Fort Necessary" somewhere.

Ft Necessity was constructed out of necessity by the British force commanded by (at the time) British Lieutenant Colonel "George Washington", it's worth visiting IMO.
