Thanks for posting those pics. They should be encouragement to visit Yosemite.
Yosemite brings up so many memories for me. In the 40 years I've lived in California, I have probably visited Yosemite between 80-100 times. In the 1980's I extensively backpacked the high country of Yosemite out of Tuolumne Meadows. I used to call the Yosemite high country my summer home. For the past 25 years I have ridden over Tioga Pass at least once a year and many years more often. I have a ride on tap sometime this summer for Glacier Point. I wanted to do that in May but it didn't work out. I'll still do my annual ride over Tioga Pass in October.

Yeah, Yosemite is great. I am blessed to live so close. I have an annual pass and go in a couple times a week usually. I love it.

This is a cool place to take a short rest along Tioga Pass Road, literally...
The waterfall is created by snow melt and acts like an airconditioner. Sitting next to it is very refreshing and cool. Soon all the snow will be melted and this waterfall will slow to a trickle and eventually stop. So, enjoy it now.

I have a senior national parks pass that cost me $10 years ago and since then I've gotten into all the national parks I've been to without a fee. There are some benefits to being an old fogey. In the last couple of months, I've been to Pinnacles, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. I will hit Yosemite and Death Valley national parks in October and might get to Yosemite before then, too. I'm contemplating a ride north this summer so I might hit Shasta and a few national parks in Oregon and Washington, all without an entrance fee.
