Here is the app I used on the trip:

http://rever.co/

It works great for planning and tracking rides but not so much for turn by turn directions. The nice thing is the overlay of the Butler's motorcycle maps with the paid subscription.

Day 5

Yellowstone Day 2 & Grand Teton

Fun day today, we were up super early and started where we left with the rain the night before. We ride the top loop of Yellowstone and headed through the Tetons south. It was a great day with amazing views all day!!!! South of Jackson the weather got iffy and we threaded the needle through some rain. Lucked out, only got wet for about 5 minutes.... The fun part was that the water falling from the sky was a bit solid..... I caught a piece of hail on the hand and it did not feel that nice....

Spectacular pictures. It seems like you had an epic trip. Thanks for sharing. I'll be looking forward to the rest of the trip.

One question of meals. What did y'all eat daily? Did you pack your food, eat at restaurants or bought your food along the way?

For the most part we hit small local restaurants, diners and brewpubs. With all of our camping gear we did have a bunch of freeze dried camping food and jet-boils in case we were running late getting to our destination. The did not get used that much and I think for my next trip I may cut back on the amount of food I bring. That stuff does take up valuable room in the saddlebags

Day 6

My 2016 Cross Country Ride-dhwqpbo.png

Another travel day . The morning was great and the ride to Provo was nice despite some highways. After lunch it started to get hot! The ride down 15 to Hurricane was not too fun. It was hot and we had a huge head wind! We actually pushed ahead a bit today getting closer to Zion then we thought!
