Default Palomar Mtn Ride

Took a ride up to Palomar past Lake Henshaw. What a nice ride. The fog/clouds made a misty ride that drifted up and over the road like a Halloween show. Then once above, the clouds looked like pillows. Roads were nice and curvy. And the little diner up there had some awesome grub.

When visiting Mt Palomar, two worthy attractions are: Taking a tour of the Mt Palomar Telescope and then, A short jaunt to the town of Julian for some apple pie! BTW, The picture of my Goldwing in my signature was taken on Mt Palomar.

Great pictures.
My favorite ride. Depart PCH sea level. Pala grade through citrus orchards and cattle country. Twisties up 6000 feet to top of Palomar. San Felipe Rd and Banner Grade up to Julian for pie. Over to Mt Laguna 6000 ft. Back down to PCH sea level and home.
Too bad they closed Hideout Saloon. It was one of the best biker hangouts
