Spent 6 nights in the Reno area but did take one day trip to Virginia City. Used the rest of the time to get caught up, service the bike, make a few adjustments and take advantage of the Nevada cheap alcohol.

Once finally getting back on the road I took 395 North from Reno to 70 west AKA Feather River Canyon and from there to Chico and on over to Red Bluff where I took CA 36. 36 is one challenging road, it's like the tail of the Dragon only 100 miles of it. Many areas with no markings, road signs, or guard rails. Definitely one of the better bike roads in the country. I spent this night in Fortuna, CA

From Newport, OR I went west on 20 to Burns, OR where I spent the night. This takes you right by the infamous BLM office. Lots of rain earlier in this day.

After departing Missoula I went north on 93 then took 35 around Flathead lake to West Glacier, MT then through Glacier National Park. Once on the other side south of St. Mary, MT 49 is an awesome motorcycle road. I went this was and stayed at a familiar place in Essex, MT for the evening.
