Default Making the seat more comfortable

I'll be leaving for a weak long trip in a few weeks. My 16 RGU stock seat leaves a bit to be desired for long days. Upgrading the seat is just not an option right now. Beads, gel or sheapskin?

The idea about having a backrest is a good idea, it helped me. Also, I found that the more I rode, the more I bonded with the seat and it became more comfy for me.

I have a backrest. Hoping for opinions on the seat covers. Leaning towards beads right now.

Backrest for sure, I've had one on the last six bikes I've owned, never be without one.

Beads will help, so would a sheepskin.

I thought a sheepskin was hot. I just bought one of the HD seat cushion that is supposed to allow airflow. I will be putting my beads back on.
