Default Securing bike at night

How do you all secure your bike at the hotel overnight on road trips? Chain and locks? Just the locks that come on the bike?

In front of my room, ground floor. I have master locks for both front brake rotors. The ignition is locked and the forks are locked. Most important, a bright orange cord from the left clutch to the right brake lever. I also have a generic cover that does NOT advertise HD!

I use a thick cable attached the bike to an pole of another bike. The cable is always in my saddlebag and I use it in a number of situations.

Cable lock around what I can....even if just wheel to frame. Of course both bike locks.

Wife once dreamed our bike was stolen from a hotel. Said a big guy picked it up and put it in his truck. If he did that, he can take it, said I.

I use the alarm and locks that came with it and a small disc lock. Small, portable and tough as hell to break. Nothing fancy but locks and alarms keep honest people honest. If someone really wants to steal your scoot, you can't eyeball it 24/7.

Nah. Try to park under a light or the porte cochere. If someone wants it they will get it one way or another.

Insurance.
The rest of the suggestions are just "feel good" options.
They ain't gonna keep me (well, not me really) from stealing your bike if I want it.......
