Hey guys,

Thanks for all the compliments and congrats!

I really owe the ability to go on this trip to a lot of awesome people in my life that helped and accommodated me in my preparation and while on my trip. That includes this community, so a big shout out and thank you to all of you! for all the help I got from you fine gents in the forums which got me set up and ready for the road; from my bike, to planning, to things I might not have even thought of. I'll respond more personally to some questions and stuff in a few days, I'm heading out for a wedding in a few minutes that will take up the next couple days for me. But when I get back, I'll try and answer all questions and post some more photos.

Nice write-up. Looks like you had a great time out there. Three months in a tent is nothing to sneeze at.

Thank you Magical Forum Gods for moving this to the correct section, and please accept my apologies.

Thanks man, Utah was awesome, the National parks were amazing! Weather held most of the time, with a few days of consecutive drizzle, but nothing too bad. Cooled me off actually...

The seat was great, I think on long rides there is only so much a seat can do, but this one provided excellent back support - along with the sea at that sort of played the roll of lazy boy back support while strapped to my bike. Shortcomings, eh I'd say it could be a bit wider, for bigger thighs on longer stretches. But then t wouldn't look as cool.

Thanks! ASAP!

Just have one question: Was there a girl in that flatbed Ford slowin down to take a look at you standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona, while such a fine sight to see??
Haha this comment is awesome, and I absolutely listened to this song while in this town. Think I passed through a little to quickly to attract enough attention this time.

How did you get the time to do this?
How/where did you shower?
I got the time right about after I quit my job and dropped out of college. I knew they would be waiting for me when I got back

I got lucky for a shower here and there at a friends house when I would spend a night. Other than that it was a truck stop, a place in a park, or if desperate, in a private bend of a river. Most of the time I just stayed dirty to be honest, much easier.

What kind of mileage were you doing each day?
You're welcome, and thank you!

Mileage depended on my mood, if I was takin my time in an area, I might to as little as 200 miles a day. If I wanted to get somewhere I could push 400 to 500,
And probably a bit more if I'd wanted too. Actually not that bad after you do it a few days in a row.

Just what it suggested in the Service Manual

I'll post more pics and answer more replies asap
