Was going to stay in Eureka Springs, but decided to late to go. Lived in NW Arkansas for 10 years, but have since moved to NC. Leaving next Thursday for the 880 mile ride there. Really miss the riding there.

I'll ride the Geezer Glide over there Thursday and tour the vendors. Friday I'll ride over on the FXR and plant myself in my favorite spot on Dickson St. while I sip beer and watch all the duckwalkers. A little over an hour from my house and makes for a nice ride. Don't do the Saturdays any more, just too congested for me.
Y'all be careful and enjoy the rides in the area but beware of the flatlanders in the twisties.

It has been my experience that most of the vendors aren't fully set up til later in the day on Wednesday but it can be an advantage. I had looked at a painting I wanted, but didn't buy it on Wednesday. Went back on Friday to buy it after thinking it over and the price had nearly doubled. His response was "That was the Wednesday price."

As far as the flatlanders, next time I'll throw some safety green vests, cones, and a medical emergency kit on the bike. It was astonishing how many wrecks we came across last time. All people just riding off the road.
