Not near as many miles as I wanted to. Life got in the way and my heart just wasn't into it. Hopefully 2017 will be much better.
I hear ya! Even my business runs a couple of times a week were often combined with lumber yard trips, so in the truck. House close to rebuilt so more this year. I can ride without feeling I should be working on it
I did 14,000, and that includes riding it one way across the country! But I've got two young kids at home so that's a lot of riding for me in a year (short season, from April to October)
I have averaged around 7k per year the last 6 years on my road kings. Mostly road trips with an occasional ride to work. I rented a bike in Portland and road it down to San Francisco down highway 1 and added another 1000 for the year. I also rode my KTM around 8000 miles for the year, all dirt single track with a little moto thrown in.
I only rode about 5,000 miles this year since I bought the bike because I was more into maintaining and repairing things the previous owner neglected to do to keep the bike in top shape. I spent over $3,000 in upgrades and repairs this year but the bike is 100%.
