Default Panama City riding

Is there any good riding around PC ? Preferably
along the coastline . I haven't been there in at
least 25 years . I'm sure it's changed a lot .

We rode through Apalachicola on a ride after Thanksgiving. It is an hour and a half or so east of PC. Cool little town. We stopped and ate some oysters and had a beer. I would like to go back one day and just walk around town. You do ride along the coast for about 10-20% of the ride maybe.

Head up to the Outpost near Freeport, FL. Nice ride up the beach on 30, N on 79 then W on 20. Good place to stop for a burger and a beer on the floating deck on the Black Creek.

You going down for Thunder Beach?

One of my customers and outstanding HDF member lives in Apalachicola and works for a company that rakes Oysters. That would be the town to enjoy shellfish. A hint, bring along some sour cream, Scallions with Red & Black Caviar. Serve ice cold with ice cold frosty beer mug on the side, add all to the oyster and slurp away!

While in Panama City, do yourself a favor and ride to Destin. Get on scenic 98 and have some gumbo at Pompano Joes. If you don't like gumbo, its a nice ride and stop.

AJ's is a great place to stop in Destin, too.

I'm thumbs down on riding to Destin. Traffic sucks. Look up Hwy 30A in So Walton . That's a beautiful run. Better than anything I know in PC.

I think they rebuilt AJ's. 30A is a nice ride. I would recommend Hunt's Oyster Bar in PC. Good eating.
