Not like twisted sisters but river road is a beauty ( make a detour in Sattler to see Canyon Dam).

Enjoy and if you out this way again, Twisted sisters is a must. I would base my rides in Hill Country out of Kerrville. Let me know and I will give hints to roads in Hill country.

I may take you up on that! My wife and I fell in love with the area over the week that we were there and our son is there for the foreseeable future, so I'm sure that one way or another, we'll be back!

Be careful on those back roads in TX. As mentioned previously, paved roads will suddenly become gravel. I had the misfortune of cresting a hill and finding the paved road washed out by a creek. No idea how I kept the shiny side up, but it could've been really bad.
