Long story short- if you're On I-10 west bound, you best fill up in Ozona. On I-10 east bound, you best fill up in Fort Stockton. Great ride, but if you're not paying attention and you let your gauge get to "W" for walk, it'll sure suck to be you.

Out in that area, I ALWAYS wind up at this gas station for some reason. Can anyone pinpoint where it is? Which exit or town?

Don't know my friend. What state is Sheffield in? I will look at the route 10 exists.

In Texas.. we passed a gas station that wasn't listed on signage on roadway.. we just Road right on by..

 

Thank you but that is not it my friend.

It is on the north side of Route 10 and very close to the route.

With Sheffield (which is on the south side), you need to drive a little distance to get there. And there are Street's around you.

I can hardly wait for May. My first trip to Texas on a bike. Been there driving truck, but it was all freeways, truck stops and dropping & picking up loads.

 

Be sure to do the twisted sisters. Also on the south end of the twisted sisters you have leaky. You may want to drop into the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop for a T-Shirt. <-- You did the Twisted Sisters. LOL!!

There is another phenomenally good barbecue place. If you like barbecue let me know and I will look it up. It is in a very bad section but supposedly it is the best in the USA.

Nice. I will be heading towards Rocksprings after Big Bend so will ride Twisted Sisters and go to the shop then.

 

This is 336 north from Leakey to 41.... then west for a short bit, then 335 south and back to Leakey on 337... is this all paved?
