I rode the Parkway from 181 in Pineola to Blowing Rock, back across Shull's Mill Rd. to Foscoe, on up the mountain on NC 105 to Linville. This is the latest I've rode on the Parkway, the gates are usually up because of ice. It is cool now, in the 40's up there, but not cold. The cool air is so clear, you can see forever! I met 2 other bikers, in about 20 miles of Parkway, it is almost empty except for the deer and some hardcore college kids doing some rock climbing. The last couple of weeks have been unusually warm, so the Train is still rolling, almost no traffic makes for a wonderful ride!
