Yep, Going here. First time and looking forward to it. Four of us going and rented a cabin out of Deadwood I think it will endup costing us around 120 a night.(5 nights) Not bad I wanted to camp, maybe next year.

 

As much as I'd like to experience the madness of Sturgis week, I cannot bring myself to spending that kind of money. I was planning on going a few years back, but after digging into the costs I decided to ride south instead. Spent 6 days riding in and around the Smokeys, spent a fraction of the money and had a fantastic time. I just can't understand spending obnoxiously high prices for a week of dealing with drunks. And before anyone tells me I haven't been there, several friends and relatives have been in recent years so I have a good idea what to expect.

But, hope y'all have a great time!

We usually go every year, this year we are going to stop in after we go to Yellowstone but we will be camping in the black hills.

 

Going again this year... Sixth year... Camping as usual...

 

I might go "off the grid" for a couple weeks during Sturgis. Go camping in the hills, riding around where I want, etc. Sounds really good right now.

Planning to arrive on 8/4 and leave on 8/14.
