Not really. I did mine a couple years ago. At my age (73) it's getting harder to do. I do have a couple long distance rides this year. One to Ottawa Ont. (1600 miles) for the National HOG rally up there and one to Rolling Thunder (1500 miles) in DC . And a few smaller trips (2 to 4 days) with the chapter.

Good luck with yours.

Doing a SS1000 mid-April and planning a BBG in July. Looking forward to both.

Doing a SS 1000 in the next month or so..... Also a 12 day leisurely trip to Colorado and Sturgis.

TOH Saddle Sore complete this weekend.

We lost allot of time farting around by going through some well known and crowded nation parks and just farting around in general, but the deed was done and had a blast doing it.

Congrats. Looks like a more interesting route then just going out 500 miles and back the same way.

I didn't want to do that so I waited until an opportunity presented itself. Two years ago my dealer put on a Route 66 trip so on the way back I did the SS1000.

I love the Rever app. How long have you been using it?

Way to go Dr. Tiki! That looks like a great route. I love the name, too. Cactus Kilo.

This year is the first year that I am consciously using Rever every time that I swing a leg over the bike. I like the competition of it I guess.

For mapping, I have a Sport Trace mounted permanently on the bike. I prefer it over Rever because I don’t have to manually enable it or turn it on. I just get on the bike and ride, and it does its thing automatically.

I only posted the Rever map because it shows the map along with mileage and elapsed time…. Which is nice.
