When is the best time to ride Devils highway.

Looking at following route
Tempe-Springerville AZ- Alpine AZ - Luna NM- Mule creek AZ -Three way AZ-Clifton AZ- Morenci AZ-Alpine AZ- Springerville AZ- Same route back to Tempe

I will be riding a 2012 HD XL1200N Nightster

 

My favorite time of year is October/November for the Fall colors.

 

June through August you stand a pretty good chance at getting wet in the afternoon. The first time I rode it, we pulled into Alpine for gas and got hit by one of the worst rain storms I have ever seen. It flat out poured for over an hour. We made it to a diner and waited it out.
