Great pics! Looks like a great place to ride. Don't think I am getting there any time soon as I am in Idaho. Lots of great riding out here though. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome pics and map there Leadsled. Definately on the short term bucket list. I have to ask a question.....I'm guessing there have to be, but are there any cabin rentals in the area (Maybe Waterside / Lakeside)? Would love to get a rental for a couple nites and spend some nice time riding and sightseeing with My Wife.

Thanks Again. Saved that Map you posted. Can't wait to ride it.

Default Lodges

There are plenty of places to stay in the area. There is a lodge just past Fontana Dam on Hwy 28, near the dragon, the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge in Robbinsville NC, plus lots of motorcycle friendly hotels in Townsend,Tn or Maggie Valley,NC.

There are MANY motorcycle-friendly accomodations in the area. Although I have not stayed there, I have ridden through the Iron Horse Lodge mentioned by dyna rider and it is very nice.

Here is a link with some info about accomodations in the area:
TOD Resorts

My wife and I are planning to ride yje Cherohala today to see how the leaves are coming along. Should be some color at the top by now.
