Default Easy Rider Route

About 8 years ago I was heading home from Flagstaff and realized I'd found the gas station scene from Easy Rider. It turned into a few year obsession to figure out the route from the movie, and ride those places. I put it on the web - http://www.mrzip66.com/2009/04/20/ro...asy-rider-map/ - This last year Eaglerider tours called me and asked them to show them the route for an official easy Rider tour. Got back last month, and doing more next year.

Anyway, if you like the movie the route is pretty much all there and a great ride if you have the time.

Nice work! I've criss-crossed a bunch of the route not really knowing it, except the Monument Valley part. I knew when we were on that, that a few movies, including Easy Rider, had been filmed there. That's also where Robert Blake gets it in Electra Glide in Blue.

Thanks for posting that up.

Pretty cool. I just put in the movie and thought, what was their route and if it's worth riding. Well seems like a great ride, might have to check it out someday.

Thanks for the info. I like yourself was hooked on HD and riding when I saw the movie in 69' at the Plaza theatre in downtown Palm Springs, it will always be my favorite movie. It took me 10 years to get my first HD been riding them ever since.
