Check here, http://txharleyrider.com/ark1013/ for a couple of good routes in the Eureka Springs area and a few pics of the area.

Mine too!!! A Butler Map of The Ozarks would be a great investment for anyone riding the area, it's literally crawling with G-1 roads and your "bucket list" will become a barrel. When you carry one of these, ride plans can be changed on the fly. I just wish they would mark wet and dry counties for proper base choices.

Good timing for this thread. A buddy moved to Fort Smith area, so another buddy and I will be doing a road trip from PA to visit and we are doing this during the Bikes, Blues & BBQ event.

Good info on here .

Many good suggestions, but as a local ^^^^ this is the best advice so far.

Out of Eureka Springs I love the loop to the little village of Beaver next to the White River on Hwy 187. The single lane planked suspension bridge across the river is a blast to ride across.

Hot Springs is a good stop over spot. Make sure you ride up East Mountain and West Mountain on either side of town. Check out McClard's BBQ too.

From Hot Springs, north on Hwy 7 all the way to Jasper is a great ride. From Jasper I'd cut northwest to Eureka Springs . . . any road you take will be a good one.

The Pig Trail is nice, but I wouldn't go way out of my way just because it's so short.

We've got some great pictures from around that bridge.

If you do the Pig Trail, take a little trip off of it over to the War Eagle area. Very nice area as well.

Stop in at Pig Trail Harley store right next to the Rockin Pig Saloon in Eureka Springs. They have a whole section of rides/routes named after different bikes Free for the taking.

We go every year to The Hub. It's an excellent base to ride from. The Motel is very old and in dire need of updating, but the owners Randall and Debbie are the best hosts ever. Their restaurant Scooter's has some great Prime Rib. You can easily take day trips to Mt. Magazine, Eureka Springs, etc. Easily take rides on Pig Trail (23), Push Mountain, The Arkansas Drgaon (123). This is also very close to the Buffalo River, so if you want to swim you can.

I have to agree, The best road in Arkansas for a bike. Well maintained, low traffic, and good scenery. Offers a few good challenges for even experienced riders. I would recommend running it from the Mount Judi end all the way to Clarksville and then maybe coming back down to 7 and going through Jasper. Fill up before running there are no stations or stores , just damn fine ride to clear the mind.

Shoot me a message if you are in the area and want to ride. If I don't have club stuff or work going on I am always up for burning up Ar roads. We have a lot to choose from. Some well kept secrets, and others that are over publicized and over rated.

Hwy's 7 and 123 are some of the best ... you can take 16 from Searcy to Fayetteville (and further, but that was all I rode), it is a longer ride but worth it ....

I Lived in Mountain View and am in the process of buying a place in Higden. I can put a bucket list together of runs using google maps for anyone that wants them. I average over 15k a year running the roads in Ar. I tend to avoid alot of the more publicized stuff and just stick to twisty rolling scenery.
