I'm leaving Louisiana as well, Friday July 31. What route y'all taking. I'm riding solo.

 

Direct route. Unfortunately we are trailering because the two coming with me would never make the 1500 miles in one piece (Honda Fury no windshield and has cancer, and a bad back on a 1994 Intruder). I just want them to experience Sturgis. I rode up the last two years.

Are you going to the rally or Labor Day weekend? You might want to leave earlier.

 

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by Labor Day? By my math if it's 22 days from his post, that puts him waking up on the 28th. I assume it will take him 2-3 days to get there, thus arriving on the 31st. I myself am leaving on the 31st of July.

I received a couple tickets in the mail today.

 

My bad, as usual I missed the Aug. 31st. It's so close I am missing lots of things. My wife says she wishes the rally would hurry up and get here because I spend so much time petting my bike.
