Favorite Mom & Pop roadside restaurants
One of my favorite parts of touring is I always try to find the best local food . I avoid chains and stick to local restaurants and drive-ins as much as possible.
Here are some of my favorites:
Clyde's Drive Inn, US 2 St Ignace MI 49781
Dairy Grille, 1111 Bridge St Charlevoix MI 49720
Jenny's Giant Burger, 940 N Main St Ft. Bragg CA 95431
Post some good ones for my next ride.

If you are ever in Lexington Ky, check out the Parkette Drive-in on New Circle Rd.
They still have car-hops and the strawberry pie (in season) is outstanding!
As far as the best cooking in Ky., you'll have to come to my house.

I took our little group to the Parkette last summer.
I saw it on one of the food shows.
Neat little place.

The place at the bottom of the Rattlesnake Pass, Boognans Oasis I think is the name.
Great shakes at the halfway point of a really cool road.

I liked the restaurant in Tortilla Flats AZ. Great ride out to it and the best Nacho Grande I have had.
