Natchez Trace Parkway runs 444 miles from Natchez Mississippi, through the corner of Alabama and stops just Southwest of Nashville in Pasquo, TN. It is a great ride with beautiful scenery.

Hey Brukus Motorcycle Parts --- I'd like to "tweak" PA a little. I live in a little town, where Rt 6 runs right down Main St. The best Route 6 riding in PA is between Mansfield & Warren. (Bradford isn't on Route 6)

Also would like to add Route 120 between Lock Haven PA & St Marys.
Also Route 66 between Kane PA & Interstate 80.

Thanks for the tweaks! These are all favorite roads from our customers, so there may be some typos. And additions are always welcome!

Default US Rte 40 - MD and PA

As alternative to the PA Turnpike travelling from DC to a southern suburb of Pittsburgh on my Heritage Softail, I took US Rte 40, aka The National Pike, where it diverges from I-68 west of Cumberland MD. I followed it across the Youghiogheny River, past Fort Necessity National Battlefield and Gen. Braddock's grave, which is about 50 feet off the road, past Uniontown, where there's some steep inclines, across the Monongehela, and across rolling countryside to Washington PA, passing the campus of Washington & Jefferson College, then took Rte 19 north. A very nice ride.

Agreed. I've been on 40 in the car, and thought it would be great on 2 wheels, but just haven't made time to get down there yet. Think the same thing about 68, west of Cumberland.

I guess the additions / corrections now puts this list at "More than 75 great roads to ride..."?

Ha! Yeah... I guess I need to take the time to redo the official list.

Maybe after Biketoberfest...

I've been on a number of the mentioned roads but a couple that stood out for me on this year's trip are:

Colorado -
From Bellevue, CO along Rist Canyon Rd to Hwy 27 North to Poudre Canyon Hwy 14 to Walden.
Hwy 34 Big Thompson Canyon Road out of Estes Park

Utah -
From Payson, UT south on Forest Service Road 15 (paved all the way) AKA Nebo Loop Road. Check out Devil's Kitchen.
From Moab - Hwy 128 along the Colorado River.
