Nova scotia trip from Houston TX
So we left the afternoon of May 21 and got back Sunday the 8th.
6550 miles and a lifetime of memories.
Houston to Buffalo, NY fingerlakes, Adirondaks, Vermont,New hampshire, Maine, Up through New Brunswick to Nova Scotia. The Cabot Trail.
Down to Saint John,Bangor,Boston,NYC,Philly,Washington DC, then a 1500 mile ride from DC in 2days.
Had a little rain and one broken drive belt. other than that awsome trip with great scenery and roads.
Family in Upstate new york helped us find a wrecker to haul the bike to Uttica and drove the couple down to our hotel. Nice people.
With 10 people and five bikes just the broken belt was great.
I have lots of pictures to upload and will soon.
NY state cops pulled us over twice for there bike only inspections. BS
RCMP pulled us over as we got to Cape Breton and called it a curtiousy stop.
Traffic in NYC and Boston was like it is all the time crowded and slow.
Thanks to all here on the site that gave recomendations. We saw some cool stuff and road some great roads.
White mountains were really cool.
some of the roads were rough as hell but my new progressives saved me.

Lucky you!!!
Sounds like you had a good time and look forward to seeing your pics.
I (we) took a more eastern trek to Nov Scotia (via Montreal) in '80 but I'd like to do it better, possibly next year and possibly extend that trip to New Foundland.
A broken drive belt?
I thought they were indestructible!!!!
