Heading south to Poopys fri and Looking for locals info on sat ride. The only goal we have is being home sun night. We leave here fri and end up down at poopy and Iron horse rally plan to spend the night Camping then in am heading out to parts Unknown...trying to come up with Destinations ideas and One that came to mind was LeClaire to Pickers place then Into Ill....(Been to Jp so no Biggie to miss that) I thought wtf hit a cpl dealers....thinking about Kewanee then head north to Rock Falls...That should get us out and see the area but I am not really finding any Rds that stick out as "fun"....any locals have better plan for better rds?

 

I think we might be scraping AA as I just wanted to look around and it sounds like there really nothing to see and I have meet Frank many times at Bike Rallys around Midwest..

Like to hear more about new Diggings Wi...sounds like that might be a good stop on a sunny sat.....

this is the 3rd time in 2 years that we plan a trip down to quad cities and the weekend looks to be a washout.....

 

There is some decent riding between Savanna and Galena on either side of the river. The riding is soooo much better north of Galena/Dubuque. Southwest Wisconsin is great riding too.

 

pretty much anything north of Lacrosse is a every summer ride for us....I live mile from the river....never been south of Galena.....```````````````

The AMA swap meet and vintage flat track races are happening this weekend in Davenport. Swap is pretty impressive and I'm not much for watching any vehicle go around in circles for long but when the board trackers come out it gets pretty interesting. The museum in Anamosa is pretty impressive as well if youv'e never been there.
