About a 500 mile overall trip from Cumming, GA...but great weather, friends and riding. Stayed overnight at the Iron Horse Lodge. Great accommodations.

 

Great ride up there... I haven't been this year yet... my Canada trip took most of my funds...

 

I will probably head up there for the Fall color change..

 

I am going to West Jefferson in Oct with the family, the bike will be in the trailer hut I will have it up there for 3 days.

 

I'm heading up that way this weekend but the weather looks like it will be hit or miss.
Great area we live in to ride.
I live in Cumming so we must be neighbors.

 

Thats a great trip. I did it a few weeks ago from Nashville but round trip in one day. I didnt have time for a overnite that trip. Ill be up that way again in a few weeks to see the Fall Colors but will be in the car with the family.

 

Must be...and I like your taste in bikes! I live in the Hwy 20/Bethelview area.

 

I was fairly close when I lived in NE TN, now living in Winston Salem, NC I thought I would be closer, not.....

The Dragon is 4 1/2 hours from me. May take a trip out there sometime, but it sure isn't a day trip.

 

yEAH BUT YOU HAVE SOME GREAT ROADS NEAR YOU THOUGH.... I love attacking 52 n then west to like Galax then down to Wilkes county...

 

I'm in the Post Rd/Bentley Rd area so we're fairly close. Hope to see you on the road.
