I'm hoping we can pull off SLD and BRP in 2 days. We've changed our plans and we're only going to ride it one direction. We want to have some time to play around the gap and skyway. Our plan is to meet in Front Royal on a Thursday night and stay in a hotel and then ride SLD and BRP to Ashville and motel up for the night. Then the next day make it in to pigeon forge and stay for the next two days. My dad will need dialysis that Saturday and then Sunday we want to do the skyway loop. We stop at overlooks occasionally, but we're there for the roads. And I know what you guys are saying about the rangers. We didn't know any better last year on BRP between Maggie valley and Hendersonville we pulled 70mph the whole way. Luckily the rangers we passed were going high speed opposite way and never got face to face with one. We generally don't have a problem spending 12hrs a day in the saddle. When we travel we go to ride. I'm hoping we can pull it off.
