I just left Crested Butte & Gunnison Co wed morning 34 in the morning and 70's in the evenings. Road Home to Ky across rt 50 across Co & Kansas. Hit a little rain yesterday in eastern Ks. Dropped down to Springfield, Mo and picked up Rt 60 to the house. 1424 miles only 11 of them was on interstate, good ride and caught some nice trout in the Taylor River.

Leaving Houston tomorrow night for 9 days in Colorado. Staying near Basalt and using that as "base." Any updates on snow / closed roads?

Thanks in advance.

Rode Pikes Peak yesterday. Awesome ride, great weather it could not have been better. I have a greater respect for those of you who rode it before it was paved all the way. Don't think I would have wanted to do it. Thanks again for all of you that gave me help.

I was in and around Durango last week. 9/17-9/22 and no snow, all passes open to Silverton etc. cool at night warm in the day, afternoon rain showers, leaves just starting to change at higher elevations.
