Is the installation video on your site pretty much the same for 2017 Road Glide?

Hi FL,

Sorry for the delayed response. Rockford Fosgate recommends re-flashing the radio's on all Road Glide models 2014 and newer. This makes the EQ "flat" so you can add amplification without unnecessarily excessively boosting low and high frequencies.

Our Engineering and New Product Development team optimized the frequency response for typical conditions up to 70 MPH. Should be fine at higher speeds.

Please exercise caution if riding over the speed limit. We want you to arrive back to your family safe and sound.

The same general guidelines are followed for 2015 and newer Road Glides:

Installed system. Followed the video and had no problems at all. I didn't have the stereo flashed before hand. System sounds good. Dropped off today to get my 1k service done and told them to flash for me. Good job RF. The install was a breeze.

I installed according to instructions the Rockford amp and speaker system on my 2012 Road Glide Ultra. Why does the instructions show the amp mounted with the cooling fan completely blocked by the storage compartment? I looked at installing it the other way but the power harness is to short.
