I am having the HD14-TKIT installed today and cant wait to hear how it performs!! I had a 180 watt alpine on the street glide and it was very nice but decided to step up a bit on the new Road Glide. I will reply when I hear how install goes(looked simple in video) and how it sounds, I like my rock n roll loud and clear!!

 

Installed mine today on my '16 SGS. Awesome. Followed the video and it worked out well. I did give it a tiny bit of the Punch EQ to bring up the mid bass a hair and it worked. It also may end up making my ears bleed with the highs. I might end up throwing a tiny dsp in to give me a little more control.

I'm incredibly pleased!

 

Question: When installing HD14-TKIT in a FLTRU 2016 do i need to have any kind of head unit Flash at the dealership?

 

How is the system at high speed? can hear say abv 100m/h?

I really have a hard time with posts like this. Maybe it's my age, and I'm not necessarily afraid of doing 100 + MPH on my Harley, but, if I was doing 100 + MPH on my Harley, I think I would be plenty pre-occupied with many things.....besides how my stereo sounds.

Just sayin'.

 

Rockford came in and brought all of the new product to show. We are really impressed that they took the time to redesign the speakers just for motorcycles. They did not just slap some car speakers in the box. We just got the kits for 98-13 and 14+ in stock and cant wait to try them!
