Roland SandsAt Roland Sands Design we are constantly building bikes and with those builds comes a constant flow of new products. Every bike that comes in the door leaves with something brand new on it; some kind of crazy prototype or new twist on an old design. Some parts never see the light of day, some never make it to production, but the best of the best - those are the ones that make it into the catalog. Those are the select few that get ridden hard, rained on, overheated, engineered and generally thrashed until perfected and have earned the right to wear the RSD badge.
When a new can cover is purchased, what is the package like that it comes in? Is it sealed to a red rsd piece of cardboard like the Derby cover and air cleaner? I purchased one from a site buy it doesn't appear new.. it also came with screws in a harley Davidson bag. This just doesn't seam right. Figured of ask the company who makes it before the vendor who sold it. Thanks Chris
Which cover did you get, the small round points cover or the entire cam cover. I just got my cam cover a month ago and it came in a package very similar to the derby cover. The bolts were wrapped tightly in a small bag between the cover and red cardboard.
