I'm Comin' Back!
I had Big Louies on my 103 Limited Ultra (w/a 2.5) and loved 'em. A little over a year ago, I took 'em off & sold 'em, and put on V&H High Outputs because I thought they were a deeper tone. Well, maybe they were a little, but I could stand more loud. I'm putting Big Louies back on. I now have nice stretched bags & a fender cover, and I'm doing slash-ups to match the contour of the bags. To make a long question a little shorter, can I put one of your new 3" baffles in the Big Louies? I know the 2.5 is already pretty loud, but it's OK for me. Also have V&H Power Dual headers.

Thanks for your continued support of Rush! The 3.00" is designed for cat-back only applications. We recommend the 2.50" as the largest baffle for use with aftermarket head pipes. Dyno tuning is usually required with that size baffle. I recommend the 2.25" as the largest because it will maintain the bottom end performance and still provide a deep aggressive tone. Riders looking for max volume prefer the 2.50". The 3.00" is only for new stock bikes with stock headpipes.
