Default Odd combo?

I've got a 14 SG and need a bit more true Harley sound. I drilled out the baffles on the mufflers, and the sound is too hollow for my taste. I've settled on Rush Big Louies, 4" but need baffle advice.

Currently my cat is still in. Based on what I've read the 2.50 baffle is what I need, however, I have a set of headers with the cat removed and plan on that route eventually. Based on this info, should I get the 2.25 to start or get the 2.5 and then the 2.25 later? Can I stay with the 2.5 even after a new header install?

I have no probs getting a tuner if needed.

Thanks!

We recommend the 3.00" for use with stock headpipes but the 2.50" will also work Only two baffles sizes that should be used with stock headers on new bikes. No tuning required if everything else is stock. The 2.00" or 2.25" are best for aftermarket headers.

The 2.50" can be used with stock and aftermarket headers. No tuning when stock but it will be required after you change head pipes. It will be very loud after upgrading the headers.

Check out the youtube link for the 3.00" Big Louie. They sound awesome on a stock bike! Hopefully this will help guide your decision. Please let me know if I can provide more info. Thanks for considering Rush.
