Can anyone confirm a new paint color coming out in a few months for the 2015 CVO StreetGlide? It's being mentioned elsewhere.

I've seen the MOCO come out with mid-year colors on the regular models in the line-ups but never a new color or combination on the CVO bikes. I believe that where ever you're hearing that from is full of it.

 

Yes, I agree. They did release a new mid year paint scheme on a CVO Ultra in 2010. Seen in the video below. This is the only one I know of.

 

According to my dealer, as of today they have discontinued all of the CVO Street Glides in the current paint schemes. What dealer's have on the floor, or en route, is all they're gonna get. He said he has orders he cannot fullfill now.

And that there is a new paint scheme coming for June delivery.

 

Are you sure he didn't mean his dealership! Not all dealerships?

 

According to the guys on CVOHarley, the new color is black. The speculation is that Harley is stopping production on the other colors as there have been numerous issues with the paint.

 

He meant all dealerships.

I've read a similar rumor on CVO Harley. It's hard to believe, but certainly not the weirdest thing I've ever heard.

 

I was at Yellowstone Harley today and the salesman said he just got a photo of the new color it was black with different tank badges. He said the yellow color was cut some time ago and as of now the other 3 have stopped. The new one will start to ship in March. Hope this helped.

 

Thanks gents. Yes, I've been following the chatter on the CVO Forum as well and the new black paint scheme looks like its going to happen. The picture shown of the new black paint scheme posted on that forum looks similar to the 2012 CVO SG, especially with the tank badge. I have also heard orders placed will be filled? Is it confirmed the motor company has ceased production of the other colors? I have had a deposit down on the Hard Candy CVO SG since September which was due in April, or now maybe not?




I called my dealer right after I posted this, as far as they know the Hard Candy they ordered for me is still coming in April.

 

I hope you get your bike! Maybe it was already made and so it will ship.
