Default CVO softail deluxe or Street glide

Thinking about trading in my 2006 SEUC for a 2015 CVO street glide or softail deluxe. Most people I talk to, including my wife really like the deluxe. I'm 5'8" and the lower bike may be a better fit for me, but I really like the fairing and radio. Any thoughts??
(I know speakers and XM can be added to the handlebars on the deluxe)

The CVO Softail has the worst paint scheme to ever come out of Milwaukee. The dealers around here where I'm at can't give them away. I'd definitely go with the FLHX, if you can find one.

Go with the street glide. I am 5'9 and can fit it just fine. If need be just get the seat adjusted or buy a reduced reach seat.

you're better off with the street glide you will fit on it no problem The resell value will be much better also with street glide . but ultimately get what you want you're the one buying

I rode my wife's recently purchased 2014 Deluxe CVO and am impressed with the power and smoothness. You won't get that kind of smoothness with a rubber mounted engine. As far as the paint scheme, I like the red version better than the one my wife has, but it's her bike and she likes it.

I bought the yellow one in the avatar in December I am 5'8"-5'9" (I like to think its 5'9") and I feel more in control of it than my '13 street glide. The 12 speakers and 600 watts really rock. I have only cut out the cat and the 8" baffles out of the rear of the mufflers. I am very happy with the sound and performance. The new fairing with the vent is the best! I ride with it open at all times, even in temps into single digits. I also love the hydraulic shocks over the airs on the '13. I never feel the bike try to bottom out like the '13. When I purchase a tour pak for long trips, I can't think of a better bike. Guess I found the one.

Here's a cool pic in front of an old Shell station, hope this works

Not sure why most people hate on the CVO Deluxe paint scheme. It was one of the main reasons i purchased the bike. Most people who have mentioned to me they don't like the paint schemes are people who ride black bikes.

To each his own I guess. I like the paint scheme myself but definitely prefer the silver, black and grey over the others. But my last bike was black though

Dirtyike, you might have something there, I have a black bike.
Rode the wife's CVO to the dealer and am become more impressed with the bike. The added power on the 110 is amazing, kind of reminds me of the V-Rod I had. And smooth, I told my wife I am loving her bike and of course she said, "get your own". Might have to start a search for one….
